This air compressor pump is used in conjunction with an air compressor unit for various applications including automotive servicing, fleet maintenance, body & machine shops; woodworking, production & manufacturing lines, dry cleaning, farming and general maintenance tasks. It features cast iron construction that offers high durability and ensures over 15000 hours of problem free operation. In contrast to petroleum based lubricants, this pump features synthetic lubricant for increasing the pump's efficiency while minimising the damage against high temperatures. This air cooled compressor pump features overhung crankshaft, individually cast cylinders and a one piece connecting rod for minimising & simplifying the maintenance requirement.

Ingersoll Rand 2475 air compressor pump works by forcing the air into the container and then pressurising it. The electric motor connected to the air compressor pump via gear belts moves the rotor inside the compressor pump. This rotor drives both large & small pistons inside the chamber. While the large piston pulls the air from outside & pushes it into the small piston, the small piston compresses that air supply by pressurising and forces the pressurised air into the compressor tank for storage. The pressurised air inside the air compressor tank is then supplied to pneumatic tools & equipment using a nozzle.

Ingersoll Rand 2475 air compressor pump is installed onto the compressor tank. This compressor pump is bolted on the flat plate, welded on the compressor tank, the output airline is connected to the compressor cylinder. The compressor pump is connected to the motor using belts.
