Ingersoll Rand 2340 compressor pump is used to compress air supply for use in various air-powered applications like gas cylinder filling, operating pneumatic HVAC systems or tools and filling tires in automotive service shops, machine shops, production & manufacturing lines and more. Ingersoll Rand 2340 air compressor pump combines with a vertical air cylinder & a 5 hp motor, offering continuous air compressing operation.

• First, install the compressor pump securely by assembling & adjusting the flywheel, valves, selector switch & other parts and make electrical & piping connections with the motor & air cylinder. Fill the unit with an appropriate oil / lubricant for starting up the compressor pump.
• After the motor starts up, the flywheel on the compressor starts rotating to provide a stable power supply to twin-stage cylinders.
• The 2-stage cylinder crankshafts start moving up & down like in an engine for intaking air through the air intake filters and pressurising air in stages.
• Users can control the valves for sending the pressurised gas to air cylinders for further applications.

• Ingersoll Rand 2340 compressor pump uses a flywheel that rotates to smoothen velocity fluctuations of the accurately-balanced overhung crankshaft and ensure quiet operation.
• It has an inlet air filter for preventing contaminants from entering inside the pump unit.
• This Ingersoll Rand pump has 2 stage cylinders for delivering 14 cfm air at a maximum air pressure of 175 psi.
• The cylinders are attached to a one-piece connecting rod & the crankshaft with few wearing parts for ease of maintenance & service.
• Ingersoll Rand pump features an oil fill port for periodic refilling of lubricating oil.
• Its internal components are lubricated using the splash lubrication technique. Splash lubrication is the splashing of the lubricant upwards to the cylinders by scooping oil from the oil sump using the big ends of the connecting rods for creating oil mist or droplets on them. These oil droplets pass through the bearings and lubricate the moving parts.
• Ingersoll Rand compressor pump has a 0.5-inch NPT outlet for delivering pressurised air.
