• Ensure the stick welder is placed on a stable and level surface.
• Connect the welder to a suitable power source using the attached input power cable and NEMA 6-50P plug.
• Turn on the power switch of the welder.
• Select the desired welding current by adjusting the amp selector switch.
• Prepare the welding area by cleaning the workpiece and ensuring proper ventilation.
• Insert the electrode into the electrode holder.
• Hold the electrode holder securely and make contact with the workpiece.
• Strike an arc by briefly tapping the electrode against the workpiece and then quickly withdrawing it.
• Maintain a consistent arc length and move the electrode along the joint at a steady pace.
• Complete the weld bead and release the electrode holder trigger to stop the welding process.
• Allow the weld to cool before inspecting the quality of the weld bead and making any necessary adjustments.
