It provides up to 500 psi pressure in the first stage and up to 1000 psi in the second.
A pump moves or flows liquid and does not generate pressure. It generates the flow required for the development of pressure which is a function of the system's resistance to fluid flow.
Remove the reservoir's fill plug. Only fill the reservoir to the level indicated on the pump.
A single-acting hydraulic hand pump generates pressure in one direction only, while a double-acting pump can generate pressure in both directions, allowing for bi-directional operation.
Priming involves filling the pump's reservoir with hydraulic fluid and ensuring that there are no air bubbles trapped in the system, which can be done by operating the pump handle several times until a steady flow of fluid is achieved.
This Enerpac hydraulic hand pump does not require an external power source. As a result, it is more portable than a powered hydraulic pump.
