Horizontal bandsaws feature a higher cutting rate than vertical bandsaws. Horizontal bandsaws offer optimal squareness by cutting straight cuts, whereas the vertical bandsaws provide flexibility to easily cut out curvy shapes when needed. Horizontal bandsaws generally cut bigger pieces of harder metal, while the vertical bandsaws are used to cut angles & miters in softer metals.
The blade speed can be adjusted from the operator's control station using the front-mounted speed control.
