What thread size is appropriate for use with this LOX-8 paste?

It is suitable for threaded connections of 3/4 inches and smaller.

How to apply this LOX-8 paste?

  • Clean the oil or dust of female and male threads.
  • Apply LOX-8 Paste liberally with your finger, starting one to two threads back from the male fitting's end, to fill the threads.
  • Fit and tighten the male and female components. Torque is achieved manually or with common pipe tools.
  • Clean off the extra sealant.
  • A fitting may crack if it is too tight, especially one made of plastic, PVC, or cast iron.
  • Wipe surfaces with a lint-free cloth before applying again. Wipe with acetone as necessary. You may reapply LOX-8 and paste over previously applied.
