Bernzomatic TS8000 torch is ideal for large diameter soldering, light brazing, woodworking and cooking applications in manufacturing & maintenance industries. It is compatible with MAP-Pro and propane fuels that are burnt using oxygen to produce a flame to join workpieces.

Working Mechanism

  • Turn the ignition knob to the locked position and ensure that the regulator valve is turned off by clockwise turning.
  • Point the torch burn tip away from persons or flammable materials and then thread the gas cylinder into this torch.
  • Check all connections periodically to prevent loose connections.
  • Open the regulator valve completely by counter clockwise turning the flame adjustment knob. Turn the ignition button to unlock the position and depress the ignition button. Keep it depressed and then adjust the flame size by turning the flame regulating knob. Press the flame lock button to fix the flame setting.
  • After the flame is not required, pull the ignition button to release the flame lock button and then, turn the ignition button to the locked position.
  • Close the regular valve and then remove the cylinder from the torch. Pull the ignition button in the disconnected torch to release gas in the torch.
  • Store the cylinders in well ventilated areas with temperatures not exceeding 120 degrees F.
