It has an insulated, easy to hold plastic grip for minimising user fatigue over prolonged use. It features a patented thumb control lever that enables one handed operation for user convenience. It has threaded U hooks for ensuring easy material adjustment (depending upon the workpiece size). Destaco 385-R latch clamp comes with a latch plate and is mounted perpendicular to the latch surface for ensuring secure clamping. This carbon steel latch clamp comes with the Toggle Lock Plus feature which includes a locking release lever for ensuring that the over centre locking condition is maintained throughout the operation. This mechanism prevents the clamp from accidentally unlocking mid operation. Its flanged base features two pairs of mounting holes for ensuring quick & easy installation on a flat surface / workbench. Owing to its flanged base, it can easily be uninstalled by just unscrewing 4 screws using a screwdriver.
