Oetiker 16700020 hose clamp is designed to connect a hose over a fitting by clamping the hose down. It is suitable for low-pressure applications in the automobile, heating & ventilation, mining, agriculture and plumbing industries. This hose clamp is compatible with plastic tubing, electrical cables and rubber & welding hoses.

• Oetiker 16700020 stainless steel ear clamp is installed using Oetiker hand installation pincers requiring only single stroke tool closure.
• Select the nominal diameter of the clamp accordingly while installing using the correct clamping force.
• The clamp is placed in the ear space (over the end of the tube or hose) and is closed with a jaw pincer tool for bridging & sealing the ear gap tightly.
• It ensures uniform compression force around the overall circumference of the clamp.
• Owing to the specific geometry of this stainless steel ear clamp, clamping force rises and creates a spring during the expansion or contraction of hose material in response to thermal or mechanical influences, such as temperature, vibration, etc.
• Burrs produced during forming and shearing are completely removed with the help of barrel finishing operation.
