Destaco 484 squeeze action clamp, also known as toggle clamp, is used to firmly grasp objects and is designed for quick & flexible clamping in welding & assembling applications in the aerospace, automotive and food & packaging industries. It features jaws that are automatically locked while closing and one or both the handles are squeezed against the central position to hold workpieces tightly. The plier clamp is supplied with 1 or 2 adjustable spindles to secure materials to work surfaces and offer convenience of one hand opening with trigger release function. Destaco squeeze action clamp is drop forged in alloy steel for increased strength and is machined to close tolerances for a maximum holding capacity of 1200 lb. The action clamp has wider jaws than many Destaco plier clamps (up to 3.83 inch jaw width) and is provided with vinyl grip handles for safety & comfort of the operator. It can accommodate hex head spindle accessories for high performance workholding, automation and containment solutions.
