Working Mechanism

Oetiker 14100069-GRA ratchet pincer comes fully assembled & pre-adjusted as a single unit from the factory for direct usage.
Installation Of Ear Clamps: After selecting a right-sized ear clamp according to the hose diameter, slip the ear clamp over the hose and position it towards the hose end. Hold the clamp around its ear using the pincer and apply enough pressure to ensure crimping of the clamp ear & tight assembly over the hose.
Removal Of Ear Clamps: Place Oetiker 14100069-GRA ratchet pincer around the clamp ear and apply force to cut & remove the clamp from the hose. Adjustable ear clamps with outer mechanical interlock are easier to remove than normal ear clamps. Users need to peel away the attached clamp end from the mechanical interlock using the ratchet pincer for removing the clamp from the hose.
