Intermatic T104R 24-hour mechanical time switch is suitable for managing the automated operation of lighting systems, heating and cooling equipment, pool pumps and other electrical devices. It is used in commercial and industrial settings, allowing the convenience of setting daily schedules for turning devices ON and OFF, optimising energy consumption and enhancing security by creating the illusion of occupancy.

• The user manually adjusts the position of the pins or trippers on the dial to indicate when the switch should activate or deactivate the connected load.
• With the passage of time, the clockwork mechanism gradually rotates the dial, causing the pins or trippers to move in sync with the dial.
• Once a pin or tripper reaches a specific position on the dial, it prompts the corresponding switch contact into action. If the pin is configured for activation, the switch closes the circuit, enabling current to flow to the connected load. Conversely, if the pin is set for deactivation, the switch opens the circuit, interrupting current flow and switching off the load.
• The clockwork mechanism persists in rotating the dial throughout the 24-hour period. As the pins or trippers traverse the dial, it cyclically triggers the switch contacts, following the predetermined schedule.
