Greenlee 7806SB hydraulic knockout kit enables technicians to effortlessly create clean, precise holes in various metallic materials, such as steel, aluminium and fibreglass. It is used in electrical panels and junction boxes.

• Select an appropriate punch, die and draw stud to create the desired hole size.
• Determine and mark the exact location of the hole.
• Drill a pilot hole slightly larger than the draw stud using a Greenlee Kwik-Stepper step bit.
• Extend the ram to its full capacity by turning the release valve knob in the counter-clockwise direction.
• Thread the appropriate draw stud into the ram.
• Slide the corresponding die onto the draw stud and make sure its open end should face away from the punching head.
• Insert the draw stud in the material being punched.
• Thread the punch onto the draw stud until the punch assembly is tightened to the material surface.
• Close the release valve knob and pump the lever handle until the punch has completely penetrated the material.
• Open the release valve.
• Unscrew the punch from the draw stud.
• Slide off the die and remove slugs, if any.
