Destaco 5133-MR straight line action clamp features Toggle Lock Plus mechanism for secondary locking and to prevent its accidental opening during the operation. This clamp has a low profile and robust steel construction with black oxide finish for increased life and strength. It comes with a reverse acting handle that rotates backwards as the plunger moves forward to keep the handle out of the work area. This clamp has a hardened plunger with metric internal threadings to accommodate a metric threaded spindle. Raptor Supplies also offers this manual clamp in variants having solid base for strong welded, permanent installation; imperial plunger threading for secure clamping with the help of imperial threaded spindles. Destaco 5133-MR straight line action clamp is used for performing welding, assembly and light machining operations on fixtures in the aerospace, transportation, automotive and food & packaging industries.
Raptor Supplies offers these manual clamps in variants, such as Destaco 5133-MBR that features solid base for permanently welded installation and Destaco 5133-R with 1/2-13 imperial threaded plunger for attaching a imperial threaded spindle to the clamp. We also deliver Destaco 5133-M clamp having similar specifications as Destaco 5133-MR clamp without Toggle Lock Plus feature to reduce operating costs in operations where secondary locking of the clamp is not required.
Selected models of the Destaco clamps come with a Toggle Lock Plus feature, providing an extra level of safety to the user and the workpiece when fixtures are inverted / in motion / in a vibratory environment. It acts as a secondary locking mechanism to ensure that the clamp stays in over-centre toggle lock condition.
The term "holding capacity" or the holding force indicates the ideal capability of the clamp, measured during manufacturing of the clamps, to hold down the equipment, workpiece or sheet metal on the assembly line or during other manufacturing processes.

Most of the Destaco clamps feature grips that can be easily removed by sliding them off. But some of the handle grips undergo vinyl dipping to fit the underlying handle and hence, have to be cut off for removing them.
