Destaco 5000 Seriesstraight line action clamps, also known as hold down action clamps are equipped with a high strength, forged clamping arm for performing heavy duty operations. They feature hardened bushings & steel pivot pins for increased service life. Destaco 5133-MBR straight line action clamp features Toggle Lock Plus mechanism for preventing its accidental opening by secondary locking the clamp. It has a solid base for permanent, welded installation on a flat surface / workpiece. This clamp has a low profile and robust steel construction with black oxide finish for strength & durability. It comes with a reverse acting handle that rotates backwards to push the plunger forward & keep the handle out of the work area. This clamp has a hardened, metric threaded plunger for attaching a metric threaded spindle. Raptor Supplies also offers this manual clamp in variants having flanged base for an easily removable installation; imperial plunger threading for secure clamping with the help of imperial threaded spindles. We also supply a similar clamp without Toggle Lock Plus feature for reducing operating costs where secondary locking of the clamp is not required.

Destaco 5133-MBR straight line action clamp is primarily used during welding, assembly and light machining operations in the automotive, transportation, aerospace and food & packaging industries.
Raptor Supplies offers these manual clamps in variants, such as Destaco 5133-MR that features flanged base for quick & easily removable installation and Destaco 5133-BR having 1/2-13 imperial threaded plunger for attaching a imperial threaded spindle to the clamp. We also deliver Destaco 5133-MB clamp without Toggle Lock Plus feature for reducing operating costs.
Selected models of the Destaco clamps come with Toggle Lock Plus feature, providing an extra level of safety to the user and the workpiece when fixtures are inverted / in motion / in a vibratory environment. It acts as a secondary locking mechanism to ensure that the clamp stays in over-centre toggle lock condition during the operation.
The term "holding capacity" or the holding force indicates the ideal capability of the clamp, measured during manufacturing of the clamps, to hold down the equipment, workpiece or sheet metal on the assembly line or during other manufacturing processes.
The red colour of the handle alerts the operator about the location of the operating handle and the time he should grab it.
Coupling grease, such as Mobil XTC is recommended for use with the brand's mechanical clamps.
Most of the Destaco clamps feature grips that can be easily removed by sliding them off. But some of the handle grips undergo vinyl dipping to fit the underlying handle and hence, have to be cut off for removing them.
