ALTRONIX NetWay112 Single Port Midspan Injector with Short Circuit Protection

Altronix NetWay112 single port midspan PoE injector provides PoE up to 15.4W power per port and transfers data (text, audio & video) at speeds up to 10 Mbps to PoE compliant devices like IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones and other high power network devices which are located at a distance up to 100 meters from the injector. It features a standard network cable (CAT5e or over) to deliver both power & data with strong and speedy connections. The NetWay112 PoE injector also offers protection and auto detection of legacy to non PoE devices by using 12 / 16VDC low voltage connection, hence ensuring maximum safety to the equipment. It is equipped with PoE status LED and spring terminals for input and PoE shutdown. This PoE shutdown enables resetting of cameras and / or edge devices. Altronix PoE injector is capable of operating at temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. It performs at a maximum altitude of 3048 meters in non condensing humidity ranging up to 85 per cent.

• Altronix indoor NetWay1 power injector offers reliable power of Ethernet (PoE) as well as extends the data range by an additional 100 m, to get a maximum range of 600 m using multiple repeaters based on the device port requirements.

• Altronix NetWay112 PoE injector meets international standards as it is UL 60950-1 listed (Information Technology Equipment) and CE certified (European Conformity).

• Mount the NetWay112 injector securely on a wall using a fastener and / or wall anchors.
• Connect to a UL listed Class 2 or LPS (limited power supply) device for supplying the input power.
• Then, link 12VDC / 16VDC to terminals using 22 - 16 AWG wire.
• Affix the structured cable from the [IN] port to a UL-listed ethernet switch or a video server.
• Attach another structured cable from the [OUT] port to the PoE device.
• Port status LED illuminates in case of normal operation & secured connections.
• To initiate PoE shutdown, manually apply voltage in the range of 12 to 24VAC or 5 to 24VDC to the [PoE Shutdown] marked input terminals on the power injectors.
• The NetWay112 unit starts supplying power normally to PoE compliant devices when the applied voltage is removed from the shutdown terminals.
