Allpax AX7200 motorised M3 rotary style gasket cutter is designed for efficiently fabricating multiple runs of the same-size gaskets. It is used with non-metallic gasket materials, such as cork, fibre and rubber, having a thickness of up to 1/4 inches.

Allpax AX7200 M3 rotary-style gasket cutter is ideal for cutting out flange, ring and irregular-shaped gaskets from cork, fibre, rubber and other non-metallic materials. It is ideal for fabricating multiple same-sized gaskets. This gasket cutter is widely used in shipbuilding yards, breweries, power plants, refrigerated facilities and petrochemicals & pharmaceutical industries.

• Mount the unit to a workbench using bolts for a stable base of operation.
• Select the sheet gasket material and cut it into a rough square with the shortest side measuring larger than the required gasket size's outside diameter. Trim the corners if necessary.
• Punch an 11/32 inch guide hole approximately in the centre of the trimmed square using a hollow punch. This keeps the gasket material centred and ensures proper tracking of the cutters.
• Slide the scale bar of the unit to the required radius, matching the desired outer diameter (OD) using the tee screw.
• Rotate the cutter disc lever counterclockwise to disengage the top cutting disc.
• Securely position the gasket material on the threaded scale bar spindle using the guide hole and the knurled nut on the scale bar assembly.
• Engage the top cutting disc by rotating the cutting disc lever clockwise to cut the OD of the gasket.
• Hold the momentary switch in the ON position to engage the motor. The constant downward pressure on the cutting disc lever and the rotation of the cutting discs will automatically draw the gasket material towards the cutting discs to initiate the cutting process.
• Disengage the top cutting disc after cutting the entire OD of the gasket. Remove any excess material outside the outer diameter of the gasket if needed.
• Repeat the same procedure for cutting the inner diameter (ID) of the gasket.
• Finally, remove the finished flange gasket from the cutter.

• This cutter can handle gaskets with a face width ranging from 1/4 to 7 inches.
• It can accommodate gaskets with inner diameters as small as 2 inches and outer diameters as large as 62 inches.

• Allpax AX7200 rotary-style gasket cutter can be mounted / clamped in an upright position on a vise or bolted to a workbench using 1/4 inch bolts.
• The protective tape over the cutting discs should be removed before usage. Similarly, also be careful of the razor-sharp edges.
• This M3 motorized unit comes pre fabricated, however, its parts may need adjustments over time. The cutting discs should also be sharpened using a hand sharpening stone.
• It is recommended to regularly clean & lubricate the cutter's gears and moving parts using a light machine oil.
