Description

Texas Pneumatic Tools air movers are designed to blow air into confined spaces for dispensing fumes / cooling machinery in hazardous areas, refineries, chemical plants & shipyards. These air movers have no moving parts which reduce the maintenance downtime and feature a steel horn to keep the working personnel cool under elevated temperature. They provide ground wire connection for minimising the risk of static sparks in volatile environments. Choose from a wide range of these Texas Pneumatic Tools air movers, available in variants delivering airflow ranging from 815 to 7304 cfm on Raptor Supplies.

Working Mechanism

  • Texas Pneumatic Tools' venturi air movers are powered by compressed air or saturated steam.
  • They use small volumes of high-pressure air from a compressed source.
  • This high-pressure air is then ejected through the nozzle jets.
  • This high-pressure air creates a low-pressure zone that induces large volumes of ambient air through the base.
  • The air then comes out of the horn of the air mover and ventilates the surroundings.

Features

  • Texas Pneumatic Tools' venturi air movers have very less downtime since it has no moving parts.
  • They feature a steel horn to keep the working personnel cool under elevated temperatures.
  • They provide ground wire connections to reduce the risk of static sparks in volatile environments.
  • Selected models feature short galvanised horns for use in limited spaces.
  • Selected models have a crush and dent-resistant polymer horn that offer reduced weight and static grounding.
  • Models, such as TX-6AM-SS have both horn and base made of stainless steel for durability.

Standards & Approvals

  • AMCA

Frequently Asked Questions

How to ensure safety while using Venturi air blowers?

  • The user should always connect a ground wire to discharge static electricity and prevent build-up while working in a volatile atmosphere.
  • Make sure not to drag the aluminium base along the surface of the steel tank.
  • Secure the air blower before turning on the air supply.
  • Check for hazardous gases and sufficient oxygen with a calibrated multi-gas monitor before ventilating confined spaces.
  • Use the right respiratory equipment for ventilated workspaces and emergency rescue.
  • Never wear loose clothing or anything that could get caught on controls or moving parts.

How to prevent clogging?

  • Periodic cleaning with a steam cleaner is the most effective way to protect nozzle jets from clogging.
What is the airflow delivery of these venturi air movers?

  • Texas Pneumatic Tools' venturi air movers are available in variants delivering airflow ranging from 815 to 7304 cfm.
What is the rate of air consumption of these venturi air movers?

  • Texas Pneumatic Tools' venturi air movers are available in different models having air consumption rates ranging from 21 to 252 cfm.
