Proto J192 twister plier acts as a three-way plier designed for holding, twisting and cutting wires / cables. It reduces the time needed to twist wires on bolts and nuts. The ergonomic handle allows easy squeezing to cut the wire to the desired length using the side cutter. It is suitable for wire sizes ranging between 0.02 and 0.041 inches.

Safety wires are used in aviation & industrial applications where excessive vibration may cause fasteners to back out. By twisting these safety wires, the interference / noise produced by one wire is cancelled by the interference / noise produced by the other, as both the wires carry an equal and opposite amount of current through them.
