Working Mechanism

  • Select a 30 to 55-gallon poly or steel drum having 2-inch large & 3/4 inch small bungholes. Choose a suitable receptacle.
  • Thread the Aerosolv unit into the 2-inch bunghole and the combination filter into the 3/4 inch bunghole. Attach the anti-static ground wire (with a C-clamp) to a ground source.
  • Remove the cap & bulky nozzle from the can. Insert an aerosol can downwards into the unit's housing sleeve to rest it on the unit's internal gasket.
  • Lower the sliding top plate & firmly engage it against the plastic sleeve. Tighten the lock knob present on the unit's side and then tighten the sealing knob for depressing the aerosol can into the unit's internal gasket.
  • Lock the aerosol can in the system & then push down the attached handle completely to release initial pressure from the can. Control the rate of pressure and content disposal from the aerosol can by raising the handle slowly & then depressing it immediately.
  • After discharging the can content completely, unlock the system. Remove the can and seal the collection drum.
  • Monitor the colorimetric indicator & check the Mile Marker chart continuously to determine the saturation point and replacement time of the carbon canister.
  • When the operation is complete, the unit can be locked using a padlock to avoid unauthorised use.
