Desteco 9540-2L pneumatic swing clamp features a hydraulic clamping mechanism that provides fast clamping of both non-metallic and metallic products for increased productivity in secondary manufacturing operations. Due to its compact design, it is adaptable to tight spaces and the arm can be rotated at the top of the stroke. This clamp can be used on an extremely compact area owing to its high accuracy and repeatability of locking angles. This clamp is used where uninterrupted & rapid access to the clamping station is needed, and is ideal for fixturing, testing, assembling & welding applications in the automotive and food & packaging industries. This double-acting, non-locking clamp delivers clamping force directly in proportion to the inlet pressure and bore size, and has a shielded piston rod for protection from welding spatter. The clamp is sensor ready for either round style sensors or T slot sensors. Its swing direction is adjustable from left to right at 90 degrees. Desteco 9540-2L pneumatic swing clamp has a block style body for ease of installation and comes with rod weld covers to protect the rod throughout the stroke. It is capable of accommodating 6.5 mm x 5 mm T slot and 4 mm round style switches. In addition, this clamp has been tested for several million cycles and has a robust design that will improve the fundamental functions of the clamp and deliver consistency. Destaco 9540-2L pneumatic swing clamp can work under pressure ranging between 45 psig and 120 psig, at temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The clamp arm ensures maximum clamping power (total stroke of approximately 20 mm) and has an input port for connecting to compressed air supply.
