It is designed with precision and is specifically intended for harsh welding environments that demand superior clamping power. This enclosed clamp has a lightweight aluminium body to reduce operator fatigue and steel arm for increased strength and durability. Further, this clamp is integrated with hardened rivets & bushings at pivot points to fix, rotate & move the handle bar for the required work position. It operates on a maximum clamp arm pressure of 120 psi by offering holding torque of 280 lb. It has a pneumatic cylinder with an input port for connecting to a source of compressed air and comes with a toggle locking mechanism for locking the clamp in the fixed position if sudden pressure drop or hose disconnection is detected. This safety feature also ensures that the over-centre locking condition is maintained and the clamp remains protected against unintentional opening. It is supplied with a horizontal U clamp arm (centrally positioned for firm clamping) and includes sensors for position sensing.
