Straight line action clampsare ideal for moving the clamp plunger along their axis using push / pull or straight line toggle clamping action to lock them either in two positions (extended and retracted position) or in one position (only extended position). They are used for fixturing, testing, CNC machining & plastic injection moulding applications in the automotive, aerospace and food & packaging industries. The Destaco 5000 Seriesstraight line action clamps, also known as hold down action clamps are equipped with high strength, forged clamping arms to perform heavy duty operations. They have steel construction with hardened bushings, steel pivot pins & black oxide finish for enhancing the durability of the clamps while providing structural rigidity. Destaco 5130-B straight line action clamp comes with a reverse acting handle that rotates backwards to advance the plunger in the forward direction. It has a solid base for welded, permanent installation on a flat surface / workpiece. The clamp is equipped with a round plunger that is imperial threaded for attaching imperial threaded spindle assemblies. We also offer this manual clamp with a flange base for temporary installation, Toggle Lock Plus feature to prevent accidental disconnection of the clamp and metric plunger threading for secure clamping using metric threaded spindles.

Raptor Supplies offers these manual clamp variants having a flanged base (5130) for permanently welded installation, M12 metric plunger thread (5130-MB) for attaching a metric threaded spindle with the clamp plunger while holding the workpieces and Toggle Lock Plus (5133-BR) feature to prevent accidental disconnection of the clamp.
Selected models of the Destaco clamps come with a Toggle Lock Plus feature, providing extra level of safety to the user and the workpiece when fixtures are inverted / in motion / in a vibratory environment. It acts as secondary locking mechanism to ensure that the clamp stay in over-centre toggle lock condition.
The term "holding capacity" or the holding force indicates the ideal capability of the clamp, measured during manufacturing of the clamps, to hold down the equipment, workpiece or sheet metal on the assembly line or during other manufacturing processes.
The red colour of the handle alerts the operator about the location of the operating handle and the time he should grab it.
Most of the Destaco clamps feature grips that can be easily removed by sliding them off. But some of the handle grips undergo vinyl dipping to fit the underlying handle and hence, have to be cut off for removing them.
