Pull action latch clamps are horizontal or vertical holding type devices that provide a strong closing force to repetitively close & open doors and lids for latching, moulding and assembly operations. They have handles to place the clamping pull bars or hooks around the opposing latches and press down to lock the clamp. These clamps offer a powerful closing force, providing a positive holding and convenient single-handed operation due to thumb control lever in the clamps. It is generally available in 3 major styles, namely: fixed latch type, U-hook type (horizontal and vertical) and J-hook type. Destaco 331-SS pull action latch clamp is mounted parallel to the latch surface for pulling workpieces. This horizontal U-Hook style latch clamp is made up of stainless steel for providing corrosion resistance under harsh environments and minimising damage / wear due to abrasive conditions. Destaco 331 Series clampsare also available in variants having steel construction, Destaco Toggle Lock Plus mechanism and many more. You can also order these latch clamps with the longer hooks (25, 50 & 100 mm), by simply adding -M-25, -M-50 or -M-100 at the end of the model number.
