The clamp has a lever that locks a rubber stopper against the work surface to secure objects tightly for drilling, welding, milling or woodworking applications. This clamp offers a stationary alternative to removable C-clamps or spring clamps when securing material to a work surface. It comes with a lever handle that is pushed to the upright position when the clamp is engaged. This pull action latch is also supplied with a latch plate and a thumb control lever for easy one handed operation. Destaco 324-M-50 pull action latch clamp incorporates a fixed design that allows users to secure and loosen material without moving the placement of the clamp itself. It applies force in a straight line direction that allows the unit to toggle in the forward and rear positions. This is particularly useful in situations where the operator occasionally requires the clamp, rather than to push forward and apply the force, to pull forward and apply the force. It comes equipped with a handle that is appropriately aligned with the opposing latch. The handle can be pulled back down into the locking position, making it ideal for closing objects such as mold closures and latching doors.
