Destaco 217-U-L horizontal hold down clamp is ideal for holding workpieces against flat surfaces in woodworking, metalworking & manufacturing applications. This manual clamp is used in applications requiring repeated clamping / detaching of the workpiece throughout the operation. It features a U shaped open clamping bar, designed for enabling quick spindle adjustment along the holding bar length for decreasing downtime and preventing buying of a separate clamp for diverse applications. This feature enables the worker to adjust the toggle clamp for various sized workpieces by attaching arm extensions. It has a low profile design to minimise space requirement for clamp installation & usage, thereby increasing ease of operation in confined spaces. This manual toggle clamp has steel construction, providing a long life cycle and preventing bending / breaking under heavy loads. It also fits an adjustable neoprene spindle to prevent the workpieces from loosening or slipping and keep them stationary throughout the operation.
