Working Mechanism

  • The estimated gasoline level in the barrel is shown at the top of the red indicator.
  • Once fitted, check the calibration to keep an eye on the barrel level.
  • The indicator is calibrated in gallons & litres, as well as eighths of a tank on one side and quarters of a tank on the other.

How to install a barrel level gauge?

  • Remove the calibration before installation by unthreading the red nut.
  • Insert the gauge into the barrel.
  • After locking the push rod in full or empty state, thread the gauge into the push rod.
  • Make sure the bushing's arrows are pointed away from walls or other obstacles.
  • Reinstall the red nut and calibrate.

How do you calibrate a level gauge?

  • The level gauge housing should be opened.
  • Find the screw and spin it using an Allen key.
  • Depending on the offset you want, slowly rotate either clockwise or counter-clockwise.
