Working Mechanism

The VA-715x Series electric valve actuator uses a reversible synchronous motor and a magnetic clutch to accurately position the valve.
Even if power to the actuator is removed, it maintains the shutoff force.
When the controller directs the actuator to move in the opposite direction, the shutoff force decreases, allowing valve modulation.
The magnetic clutch maintains a constant load at the end of travel to ensure tight valve shutoff and compensate for seat wear.
This proportional valve actuator offers proportional stroke capabilities based on the input control signal, which can be set at 0 to 10, 0 to 5 or 5 to 10 VDC via jumper selection.
An electronic controller sends a proportional input signal to the actuator, compared to the actual valve position via an internal feedback potentiometer.
The internal circuit then activates the motor to rotate in the desired direction based on the comparison.
