Working Mechanism

  • This C Series ED3225 circuit breaker is controlled by the circuit breaker handle and Push-to-Trip button.
  • The unit passes current through its current-carrying contacts.
  • When a fault is detected, the contacts back off from each other, tripping the unit thermally or magnetically.
  • Reset the breaker by moving the breaker handle to the OFF position.
  • Finally, switch the circuit back to the ON position.
