Robinair RG3 refrigerant recovery machine is used to recover both liquid & vapour refrigerants from systems before servicing them. This refrigerant recovery unit can recover CFC, HFC & HCFC refrigerants and store them in a 30 / 50-lb DOT-approved cylinder. It comes with compatible hoses, a manifold gauge set & a recovery cylinder.

Working Mechanism

  • After properly setting up the unit, follow the standard operating procedures.
  • Connect the machine to a 115V power supply and open the cylinder's liquid valve slowly to check for leaks.
  • Open manifold gauge set's liquid valve and the outlet valve on the unit.
  • Switch On the unit and open the unit's inlet valve slowly.
  • Remove the liquid refrigerant fully.
  • Now open the manifold gauge set's vapour valve to evacuate the system till the required vacuum condition is achieved.
  • Close the valves on the manifold & the unit before switching off the unit.

  • Firstly, place the machine on a stable surface.
  • Install a clean filter screen or filter / dryer to the inlet fitting.
  • Connect a hose from the liquid port of the recovery cylinder into the outlet fitting on the unit.
  • Connect a hose from the outlet port of a manifold gauge set to the inlet fitting on the unit through the filter / dryer.
