Destaco CPI-GPM-15-18 proximity sensor mount swivel assembly is designed to be used with the brand's GR1 Series modular sheet metal grippers, which are ideal for stamping press applications and robotic part handling operations. It provides 360 degrees of rotational adjustments along the three axes for precise sensing and can be mounted on bumpers, Venturi, vacuum generators, nest mount brackets, adapters, proximity switches & round locators. The double hinged design of this accessory permits a 1.125 inch swivel ball arm to be installed easily & directly onto a 1.5 inch round tube / boom, thereby sliding into position without having to remove existing components to slide from either end. This clamp offers linear extension for allowing precise adjustments. Destaco CPI-GPM-15-18 proximity sensor features aluminium construction with silver finish for excellent resistance to environmental ageing.

The holding capacity or holding force represents the capability of a clamp for holding down mechanical equipment or sheet metal while assembling automotive parts or during manufacturing processes.
Clamping force is the amount of force actually applied to the workpiece by closing & locking the clamp. It is normally less than the stated holding capacity. The actual clamping force depends on various factors, such as cylinder bore, cylinder area, spindle position (clamping arm length) and available air pressure. In most cases, the clamping force is approximately 2 to 3 times the force exerted by a pneumatic cylinder.
Yes, Destaco also supplies inductive sensors designed in accordance with IP65 standards to ensure protection from powerful hydraulic jets, dust & heavy rain.
Use the spring force and a spring loaded gripper to augment the air pressure force.
