It has an aluminium body and a horizontal clamping steel arm for increased strength and durability. This Destaco pneumatic clamp is integrated with hardened rivets & bushings at pivot points to fix, rotate & move the handle bar for the required work position. It is integrated with a pneumatic cylinder with an input port for connecting to a source of compressed air. Destaco 81L25-10100 pneumatic power clamp incorporates a patented Toggle action mechanism for locking the clamp in a fixed position if a sudden pressure drop or hose disconnection is detected. It can handle a maximum load of 885 lb at pressures up to 72 psi, within temperatures ranging from -14 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. When used with Destaco seal kits (81L16-1-00) operator can enjoy unobstructed functioning of the clamps. It can accommodate sensors (8EA-109-1) that are mounted to the cylinders having T slot grooves. This sensor is activated with a magnetic ring which is installed on the cylinder of the clamp.
